Lela Goren

Lela Goren is a New York real-estate developer and founder of Lela Goren Group. As a real estate developer and lifelong activist, she is fueled by creating buildings that foster community and social change. She has worked on millions of square feet of real estate and mixed-use developments in New York City. She previously served as Chief Development Officer and Vice Chair at WeWork and worked with Extell Development Corp for 10 years.

Goren has served on numerous boards earning her the 2013 Civic Spirit Award by the Women’s City Club of New York and the 2016 Women Builders Council Developer of the Year Award. 


Arana Hankin

Arana Hankin is the Senior Project Manager at Lela Goren Group. She manages the adaptive reuse of two historic properties in Yonkers, New York – The Plant Manor and The Power Plant. Arana has nearly a decade of experience overseeing large-scale public-private real estate development projects. She is passionate about placemaking that enables social and economic equity and unique real estate financial models that empower local communities.  


Judaline Cassidy

Judaline Cassidy has been a plumber for more than twenty years. She is a proud union member of Plumbers Local Union Number one. She’s the first woman to be elected to the Examining Board of her local. She was also elected by union sisters and brothers to represent Local One at their United Association Convention. 


M. Tatiana Eck

M. Tatiana Eck is the Senior Development Project Manager at Lela Goren Group.   She is currently overseeing the development of a former women’s prison in Chelsea into The Women’s Building, a home for non-profit organizations devoted to girls’ and women’s rights issues.  She is a registered architect with over 15 years of experience leading complex and sophisticated development projects in the US and around the world.
